Call for Papers

Submissions by Invitation Only

Note that there is no open call for poster submissions for ICSE 2019. Instead, the ICSE 2019 Posters Track will be organized on an invitational basis. Some submissions to the Technical Track, SEIP Track, and SEIS Track will be invited by the chairs for to be considered for poster and presentation at ICSE.

The authors of an invited poster need to submit a 2-page extended abstract which summarizes

  • the problem addressed by the poster;
  • the approach taken by the authors; and
  • the main results achieved so far.

Each submitted extended abstract should adhere to the IEEE Conference Proceedings Formatting Guidelines (title in 24pt font and full text in 10pt type, LaTEX users must use \documentclass[10pt,conference]{IEEEtran} without including the compsoc or compsocconf option). The 2-page extended abstract of each accepted poster will be published in the ICSE 2019 Companion Proceedings.

Posters must be submitted electronically at the submission site by the submission deadline (see below). A submission will be desk rejected if it does not comply with the instructions and size limits. Unlike the other tracks, the Posters Track does not follow the double-blind review process. At least one author of each accepted poster is required to register for the ICSE 2019 conference and to present the poster.

Each accepted poster will be presented by its authors on one day during the 3 days of the main conference.

Important Dates

  • January 15th: Submission deadline for extended abstracts
  • February 1st: Notification
  • February 15th: Camera ready
