Nico is a computer scientist by education. He studied at Delft University of Technology and received his Phd. from the same institution. During his studies he specialized in the application of formal methods for software development, which has, since then, always been a theme/interest in his career. After his doctoral studies he started working for IT services provider Capgemini. There he further developed his capabilities, not only his soft skills but he also became an expert in enterprise and information architecture. He also gained thorough knowledge of intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and mobility.
