Name: Tobias Dürschmid
Bio: I am PhD student in Software Engineering at the Institute for Software Research at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh since August 2018. I received my Bachelors in IT-Systems Engineering from the Hasso Plattner Institute at the University of Potsdam in Germany. My research at HPI has been done in cooperation with the Software Architecture group led by Prof. Dr. Robert Hirschfeld as well as with the Computer Graphics group led by Prof. Dr. Jürgen Döllner.
I am mainly interested in simplifying the development of complex software systems. My areas of research include new concepts for software reuse, modularity of design decisions, agile software development, and mobile image stylization.
